Come to peace...

ll ॐ नमो भगवते रामकृष्णाय ll

Dear Bhaktas,

Indeed, the opening of Sri Sri Thakurji's Temple was a memorable and grand event. It is even more important that now one could come to this temple and be in the lap of peace, meditation and prayerfulness! We brought you pictures, and a few words woven to bring an inner image... there is no substitute, however, to experiencing it oneself. Please do come... any day!

Some Bhaktas wished to have pictures of the thematic back-drop. While it would not have been easy to photograph it in the settings it was in, we bring the design file itself to you in .jpeg, which is more clear. The upper written text was a separate visual, but it is given here together as you saw.
Also attached is the explanatory text on the concept and theme, as a word document.

Sri Ramakrishna Temple Jaipur : The 'elevation' at Dusk!

ll ॐ नमो भगवते रामकृष्णाय ll

Dear Bhaktas,
I am sure you were delighted to see our Beloved Thakurji, ere His 'arrival', His first darshan. Once we were able to behold Him seated majestically on the Kamalasana, delighting every heart, we could truly say that He descended for us! A salutation to Him was offered through 'Vandanam', and it reached most devotees that beheld Him on the opening. Here He is, in Avatarana, we reproduce...

The worship began with a special Pooja in the morning.  As the dusk set in and the sky turned crimson, the conch shell blew, bells rang... and it was Aaratrikam,  salutations to Him again and yet again.. "नमो नमो प्रभु वाक्य-मनातीत...." Bhaktas rejoiced in the divine music and sheer spiritual splendour of Sri Sri Guru Maharaj's presence. O how delighted Sri Swamiji would be at this sight... His divine Sankalpa at work!

Pancha-pradeepa, Karpoora neerajana, Shankha-teertha-snaapana, Udvartana, Hrdaya-kusuma-samarpana and Chamara-upachara....with such elevating Aaraatrikam sung soulfully....

Outside, the temple glowed in colourful celebration to Mano-vachanaikaadhara... with Jyoti...

We leave you here with hte pictures of Aaraatrikam, every step of it and with a 'celestial' view of the Shrine at night....

Sri Ramakrishna Temple, Just ahead of Pratishthapana...

ll ॐ नमो भगवते रामकृष्णाय ll

Dear Bhaktas,
You have seen 'pictorially' the events of the Pratishthapana day. We now bring you some exclusive pictures of the evening before Pratishthapana, where we see the preparations and decorations... and the Poorva-pooja to Sri Thakurji.

Well, He did sit down on the Kamalasana at Jaipur, the Holy City of Sri Radha Govindadevaji!

The Pratishthapana was on the Jayanti of His Parshada, Yogin Maharaj, who too then was all decked-up and graced the Peetha!

And just how did Sri Thakurji look the night before? Splendid in His Peetambara....ready to bless us!

After all the decorations, was this auspicious first worship ...to the Sarva-deva-devi-swaroopa!

We are appending more images of the praparations, and will soon be back with more to treat you to... bliss!

ठाकुर जी पधार्' या म्हारे देस !! Sri Ramakrishna Temple consecrated

ll ॐ नमो भगवते रामकृष्णाय ll

Dear Bhaktas,

ठाकुर जी पधार्' या  म्हारे देस !!

Thakurji has come here to stay, in His beautiful Temple at Jaipur! At the crack of dawn, a vibrant and poignant procession of Sadhu-vrnda  proceeded fromn the old temple, carrying the pictures of Thakur, Ma and Swamiji, led by mangala vadya.. Shankha ghosha and Nadaswaram! Bhaktas rejoiced, sang and danced in ecstacy. O what a great good fortune for all of us. Beautiful Chhatras were held on top, chamara-seva continued unabated, veda mantras filled the air and time and again the ebullient shouts of "Guru Maharaj ji ki Jai !!" reverberated... an experience only possible to experience... not describe.

Three Pradakshinas of the Shrine, and then up the main stairway... where Srimat Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj unveiled the plaque declaring the temple open, and cut the ribbon to enter the prayer hall. Sadhus followed, and the pictures from the old Shrine were placed below the preset. Revered Swamiji then performed the Pratishtha and offered Pushpanjali. He did Karpoora Aarati (Neeraajana) to Sri Thakur, Sri Ma and Sri Swamiji. All Sadhus then offered Pushpanjali at the feet of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna.

The Temple was then opened to all devotees, who did Pranam and get the first glances of Sri Sri Thakurji on this very holy day, and Jayanti of Sri Swami Yogananda.
Homas continued, and the Abhimantrita Kalasha, was taken in a Pradakshina with Vadya ghosha. Climbing up the temporary ramp, the Kalasha jalam was poured on the Shikhara Kalasha, 80 feet above. Once again Jayaghosha emerged and water shower sanctified the Devotees waiting below.

At the same time there was, in the Garbha-grha, a special pooja to Thakurji, performed by Sri Swami Shantatmanandaji.

Poornaahuti to the Homas was done. All the events were webcast live on the Mission website.
We bring you joyous glimpses of the blissful event in a small attempt to tell you. Yes, we espied Chandra stealing a look at the procession of Chandramani's Ananda-putra!

Sanjaya, after the thunderbolt experience of Krishnaarjuna-samvaada and the Vishvaroopa darshana could only find some words like, "तच्च संस्मृत्य संस्मृत्य हृष्यामि च पुनः पुनः , हृष्यामि च मुहुर्मुहुः !!"

May Sri Sri Thakurji's grace be on all who come here to see Him and  to call upon Him.
